How to Make your Wedding Film Truly Yours.

After witnessing, filming & editing countless wedding videos, one of the main things I find I’m advising to couples most, is how to make their wedding film truly theirs. This is something lot’s of bride’s are apprehensive about. As that’s the whole point of your wedding film & your wedding day right?

I’m a firm believer that each love, each connection we celebrate with our partners is unique. It’s my job to honour that. The video at the top of this article is a perfect example of this. Although it is my job, as a wedding videographer in Ireland, to craft stories of authenticity, it also takes some consideration on behalf of the couple to consider what will allow their special day & wedding film to truly illuminate that.

This is a huge part of how Eye Flower Films decides which wedding projects to take on. Everything relies on authenticity. It’s the core ethos of “genuine love captured”, our business motto if you’d like to put it that way.

If you take only one thing away from someone who witnesses weddings & declarations of love on the regular, it’s to be truly yourself. It’s to let go of trying to be like everyone else, do things that you saw at other peoples’ weddings & instead tap into the things that truly signify your unique connection with your partner.

P.S. I’m definitely not saying each of the grooms I work with needs to serenade his bride (like in the video haha) but it definitely gives some food for thought!
