Is wedding videography worth it for my wedding?
This question is answered by considering how much you value video itself. Although 99% of people will go with a photographer first, video has it’s own unique value. More so than the visuals, what video offers is audio documentation of your wedding memories. This is something I didn’t realise would become so value for clients of Eye Flower Films. Couples come to appreciate so much more in the years after, the laughter, the conversations & candid interactions that transpired on the day. Something that photos can never do. It’s what I’d consider if you want to truly be able to relive your day exactly as it happened. This is the main value for video over just having photos overall for your wedding.

How much should a wedding videographer cost in Ireland?
Any worthwhile wedding videographer will charge anything from 1500-5000€+. The difference in pricing comes down to a multitude of things. Experience, how in-demand they are, technical skill / style all affect how wedding videographers in Ireland typically charge. Also, most videographers have add-ons to packages they offer, such as vintage camcorder footage, drone coverage, express delivery & documentary films. These are all things that can alter how packages are priced.

“Is there really a difference between a 1500€ & a 5000€ wedding videographer?”
The short answer is, absolutely. But of course I’m biased. Let me explain: The quality, care & client experience is what you are paying for in price difference. Like most things, not all wedding videographers are the same. The quality of your wedding films, the quality of how this supplier is around you (all day…) on your most special day, as a result, are not the same either. Although the majority of people just want their wedding day recorded, there are concerted things to assess before investing in one. Your wedding day only happens once, there is no retakes & do-overs. The level of care in how that day is captured simply can’t be understated. Furthermore, it’s forever. Over 30 years a wedding film cost’s less than 50c a day to have your one day remembered in high definition, in a crafted story by a professional, whose sole focus is doing the best job they can for you & your partner. The point is, make sure to vet your videographer & their intentions before committing to them. Make sure you feel safe in them & that they are not only there for quick money. This is what I would always advise couples overall when answering this question as a wedding videographer myself.

What is the starting price for wedding videography packages at Eye Flower Films?
All our packages for 2026 start from 3000€. Prices range in correspondence to specific wedding project logistics, demand & availability (2027 pricing to be finalised).

How long will I wait for my wedding film from Eye Flower Films?"
Normal delivery time for your full wedding films gallery is 8-12 weeks officially. However, you’ll receive a live editing queue from us to stay in the loop as to where your films are editing wise. Excitingly, I’ll be in touch with you throughout this process, as I likely won’t be able to help myself but send on a few teaser clips within the first few days while still editing. There’s an express delivery option also, which will have your film ready within 30 days after the wedding (should you dying to see your big day in a timely manner - I shall crack open the red bulls just for you haha). The process of editing multiple wedding films is a considerable one. There is the initial culling of footage, the colour grading, the music selection, the finding of moments over hours upon hours of footage to build a story. Clips need to be stabilised & trimmed to fit a narrative cinematic story. Although this is a lengthy effort, it does everything for the sake of the quality of films you received. This intention & respect of time given to each specific wedding project we take on is ultimately what enables the quality of work you see once delivered.

What is a documentary wedding film?

A documentary film is typically a much longer film than what most videographers offer. With Eye Flower Films for example, it is a 40 minute dedicated reliving of everything captured in the cameras. So if you care about leaving no stone left unturned that you paid a videographer to capture. This is something to consider in your final wedding videography package decisions.

What is vintage camcorder coverage?

Some wedding videographers in Ireland, like Eye Flower Films, like to offer coverage using old school camcorders that you might have used in your youth. At Eye Flower Films, we have simply fell in love with bringing it to a wedding day. This is because we give it you & your loved ones on a wedding day.
