wedding videography in ireland for your wedding. why bother?

Photography fundamental at weddings in Ireland. But when it comes to reliving your most important moments wedding, videography is what couples regret most not having. Surprisingly, what couples miss out on most are not the big moments. It’s never the vows. It’s not walking down the aisle. It’s the little moments. The video clip of Granny chatting to your best friend for the first time whom you’ve known since a child. The dedicated audio of the speech your father gave about your now husband as a tear rolled down his face. It’s in these moments where wedding videography shines.

I’ll put it like this. When in your life are all of your most important people going to have put their busy lives aside to come together? Let alone to celebrate your love, connect & boogie all night? Think about it. There is no other opportunity like this. It’s something that becomes vividly apparent to couples as the years go by. Couples that do book wedding videography are able to relive all the love. To see loved ones now possibly gone but at their happiest and better yet happy for you. This is what makes wedding videography in Ireland to me so special, so important. I get to be there. To make sure that none of these moments fade from this day of joy.

Thankfully, as someone who has been involved in wedding videography in Ireland as an industry over the last while, a shift has been occurring. Wedding couples are prioritizing videography. What was once an after thought has now become intentional. I’m sure you can already answer why this is happening. Just look at the age we are in. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. Video, as a format, is the bread and butter of our entire economic machine. Why have one image when you can have it in motion, bringing you directly into the thick of it. It’s been curious to observe this shift in the wedding industry overall.

Now, obviously this blog post is biased as I am in the industry but alas I wanted to give my two cents.
