This policy explains how Eye Flower Films Limited collects, uses and protects your personal data when you enquire about or book our wedding videography services, or visit our website.
WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE COLLECT
- Your contact details, wedding date, venue and other information you share when you enquire or book.
- Payment records, such as amounts, dates and the payer name shown on bank transfers. We never store card numbers.
- Video and audio of you, your wedding party and guests, filmed on the day.
- Emails and messages between us.
- Basic website data, such as pages visited and device type, collected through cookies.
HOW WE USE IT
We use your data to reply to enquiries, prepare and carry out your agreement, film, edit and deliver your films, take payments, and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires. With your consent, we use cookies to understand website visits and measure our ads. We never sell your data.
PROMOTIONAL USE OF FOOTAGE
We may share clips, stills and behind-the-scenes content from your wedding on our website, social media and ads. You can opt out before your wedding by telling us in writing. You can also ask us to remove published content at any time, and we will remove it from our channels within a reasonable time. Please let your guests know your wedding is being filmed. Any guest may contact us about content they appear in.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share data only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as far as each needs it. We share data with our accountant and the Revenue Commissioners where the law requires. If our Lead Videographer cannot attend your wedding, we share the necessary details with a substitute videographer. Some providers process data outside the EU; where they do, it is protected by approved safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Enquiries that don't become bookings: 12 months.
- Agreements, invoices and payment records: 6 years, as Irish tax law requires.
- Finished films in the online gallery: 12 months from delivery.
- Raw footage: 12 months from delivery, then securely deleted.
- Footage used in our portfolio or marketing: until you ask us to remove it.
SECURITY
Your data is protected with secure, password-protected accounts and galleries, and footage is backed up across separate storage devices.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email breffny@eyeflowerfilms.com. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.
